NYSRPS 35-for-35 Years of Friends

This year we celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the Friends Committee!

Since its founding in 1991, this effort has stood as a testament to the leadership and vision of those who came before us, investing in the advancement of our profession through education, scholarships, and research.

Over the past several years, the fund has supported five Student Scholarships and two Young Professional Scholarships, providing opportunities for emerging leaders to attend the NRPA Annual Conference. These experiences have helped shape careers and strengthened our field across New York State.

As we celebrate this milestone year, we are launching a 35th Anniversary Contribution Campaign to continue and expand this impact.

The Friends Committee is also excited to support the NYSRPS Conference Committee in enhancing the educational experience of our annual conference, specifically by helping bring in nationally recognized speakers to inspire, challenge, and elevate our profession here in New York.

Support enhanced educational opportunities at the NYSRPS Annual Conference
Continue funding scholarships for students and young professionals
Strengthen the long-term impact of the Friends Committee mission
